Gabriella Crivello, M.A., AMFT, APCC
Gabriella is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at New Directions in California. A Bay Area native, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from St. Mary's College in Moraga, and recently completed her Master's in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and is working towards becoming a licensed psychotherapist. Her clinical experience includes working with children on the autism spectrum and their families, individuals with severe mental illnesses, and crisis intervention.
Gabriella has had a lifelong interest in psychology and a passion for helping people discover their inner "superheroes", no matter what challenges they may face. She believes that an empowered client is a healing one and works primarily from a strengths-based approach. Her goal with her clients is to help them find the strength they need to "tie the cape around their own shoulders" and integrate the skills learned in treatment to create a balanced and positive life.
In her free time, Gabriella enjoys escaping into a good book, exploring vintage clothing stores, mastering her Italian family's recipes, and singing (all the time).
