From there she became a Florida Board Certified Registered Behavior Technician, working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. She went on to study Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy, and is currently completing her internship to obtain a Masters in Science for Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy at Capella University. Djamentha's passion for helping others is undeniable. She has a wide range of experience working with children and families who's experienced trauma, homelessness, disability, parental conflict, and more. Her skills include but are not limited to using applied behavior analysis, managing cases, creating treatment and lesson plans, implementing behavior interventions and structured curriculum, teaching academics, social skills, language, and activities of daily living. Her empathy and compassion for who she serves is the foundation of her work with others, and she is so excited to bring that passion to New Directions For Young Adults.
